Everything about this headstall had me thinking about all the sweet geldings I’ve had in my life. But one in particular really had been on my mind. His name was Sammy and hes was the sweetest little buttermilk buckskin pony. Everything about him was sweet, loving, graceful, adorable, safe and a little silly. He was literally the most perfect pony for me to build my confidence with. I was so lucky to have had him. I think this headstall embodies so many of those qualities and I don’t know if I made this thinking of him or if I made this and it made me think of him but either way it was such a wonderful trip down memory lane.
